The New AthHalf 5K!
The AthHalf is kicking off its first ever 5K on Saturday, Oct. 21st at 3:30 pm. The 5K begins at 3:30 PM on Foundry Street right in front of The Classic Center Pavilion, which is where we’ll also be holding the AthHalf Health and Fitness Expo on Saturday. Oct. 21st. The course makes a loop and runners will enjoy a run through downtown, Athens historic Boulevard neighborhood, and down Prince Street before finishing in front of The Classic Center Pavilion. So, bring your friends and family to enjoy this new tradition! A 5K is a great event to involve the whole family. Registration is open now and you can all register in-person at the Health and Fitness Expo on Saturday, Oct. 21st between 12 pm – 3 pm.

The 5K has a one-hour time limit. All runners must be able to complete the course within an hour.
Runners will be supported with a water station at approximately 1.5 miles into the course, cheering fans, and bathrooms can be found near the finish line inside The Classic Center. There will be no first aid on the course.
The AthHalf 5K is scheduled during prime fall weather! In October, average monthly temperatures range between 50F and 76F, while rainfall totals average around just 3.2 inches for the month.
While no pets will be allowed on the course for the safety of all runners, strollers will be allowed on the 5K course.
